Ong Whee Shiong

Founder & CEO

Whee Shiong has spent 20+ years in retail technology. Not as an observer. As a builder — in the most literal sense.

Armed with a Computer Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore, he is the rare CEO who understands the code beneath the platform as well as the business above it. That technical fluency shapes how Eleos builds, how it implements, and how it has conversations with clients that most vendors simply cannot have.

Over his career, Whee Shiong has led enterprise retail technology deployments across Asia, working with the region's largest retailers on systems that handle the real complexity of Asian retail. When he founded Eleos, it was with a clear conviction: Asia's retailers deserved a platform built for their context, not a Western platform adapted for it.

His expertise spans POS architecture, ERP integration, multi-location retail management, and retail technology procurement across the region. He is the reason Eleos prioritises delivery certainty over speed-to-sale.

Mark Hoe

VP of Growth and Product

Mark brings over 15 years of enterprise technology and business leadership experience across APAC, having spent the majority of his career at the forefront of retail and commerce transformation. With a background spanning retail tech and global AI technology platforms, Mark now oversees product development, enterprise sales, and go-to-market strategy across different markets.

A rare combination of product thinker and revenue driver, Mark has spent his career building high-performing teams, closing complex enterprise deals, and shepherding products from market research through to deployment. He is equally at home on a whiteboard mapping a product roadmap as he is in the boardroom negotiating a regional contract.

Beyond growth and sales, Mark is the driving force behind Eleos's AI transformation. He leads the integration of AI into the company's product development workflow — accelerating how the team researches, designs, and ships — while spearheading the development of intelligent features embedded across the Eleos product suite. His vision is to make AI a practical, revenue-generating capability within the platform, not just a buzzword.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Management, specialising in International Business, and an Accelerated Management Program certification from NUS Business School and a Diploma in Information Technology.

Marc Chang

VP of Sales

Marc brings 18 years of experience spanning retail operations and enterprise technology across Asia-Pacific — grounded by a foundation in accounting that shapes how he approaches every client engagement. That financial discipline gives him a sharper lens than most: he understands not just how a retail system needs to work, but what it costs when it doesn't, and how to build a business case that holds up to scrutiny.

He has sat on both sides of a retail technology implementation: as the operations executive who needed the system to work, and as the person responsible for making sure the implementation delivered what was promised.

As VP of Sales, Marc leads Eleos's sales and implementation practice. His operational background means he designs implementation programmes that account for the reality of retail: trading continuity, staff change management, and the operational consequences of a system that is not ready when the doors open.

Keith Weng

Accounts & Project Director

With 13 years across project management, government tenders, grant management, and account management, Keith has built his career on a simple but rare skill: knowing exactly what a client needs — often before they can fully articulate it themselves. His approach to requirement gathering is methodical and disarming in equal measure; clients walk out of a scoping session with Keith feeling heard, aligned, and confident that what gets built will be what they actually asked for.

That precision is no accident. His background in government tenders and grant management — environments where vague requirements have real consequences — forged a discipline that he now brings to every enterprise engagement at Eleos. Timelines are respected. Scope is managed. Surprises are minimised.

As Account & Project Director, Keith sits at the critical intersection of client relationship and delivery execution — the person who ensures that what was sold is what gets built, and that the client is a reference at the end of it, not just a completed line item.
